Hello this is Isaiah and Jared and Joel here and we are going to talk about the Sochi 2014 Olympic game bobsleigh event. First, it is the Jamaican bobsled team. For the Jamaican bobsled team it has been rough. First the luggage did not come so they missed a whole day of practicing. Then, their protein powder got all over their shirts because the customs failed to close it when they were looking through it. So one of the guys had to run with protein in his eyes.
The first bobsled team were in the movie “Cool Running's” where it was the story about how they tried to make the running team but one tripped and they all fell down. So they waited two years and tried out for the bobsled in the Olympics.
Now a glimpse into the rest of the world.
In the 2 man bobsleigh for run 1 Russia got a time of 56.25 and is 1st place for now. Going 2nd was Switzerland with incredible speed got a score of 56.46. Going 3rd is the USA and Steven Holcomb drives U.S to first two man Olympic bobsled since 1952 with a good time of 56.34.
In run 2 the Russian federation got a score of 56.57. The Jamaican team qualified in the first round and got a score of 58.42 in run 1 and in run 2 they got a score of 58.81. Also in run 2 the Canadian team with Kripps and Barnett got a score of 56.70. Also Australia got a pretty good score for a country that is not very cold and got a time of 57.99. Italy got the bobsled score of 57.02. In run 3 Korea got a score of 57.73. The Russian federation got a score of 56.08 and that was one of the best scores. Also the Canadian team Kripps and Barnett got a score of 56.42. After the 3rd round only the top 20 made it and the 20th place was France with a score of 57.65. In the last round 4 the Russian federation got a good score of 56.49. Korea Won and Seo got a score of 57.08. And Canadian team Kripps and Barnett got a score of 56.94.

1st Russia 3:45.39 gold
2nd Switzerland 3:46.05 silver
3rd USA 3:46.27 bronze
4th Russia 3:46 .30
5th Latvia 3:46.48
